DESCRIPTION:An Evening Of Brahms\, Friday November 13th 6:45 PM reception\, 7:30 PM Concert \nBrahms wrote his chamber works for salons\, not concert halls — for evenings among friends where the music was the occasion and the company was the point. The Southborough Salon Series returns to that tradition — and to a room built for it. \nJoin us for an opening reception in the Long Gallery\, followed by an all-Brahms chamber program in the Assembly Hall\, whose acoustics are near-perfect for music at this intimate scale. \nCello Sonata No. 1 in E Minor\, op.28 and Piano Trio No 1 in B Major\, Op. 8 \nSeating is limited to fifty.  $25 members / $30 non-members\, refreshments included
