DESCRIPTION:  \n \nWhat We Carry\nA night of true stories\, in person. \nSix storytellers take the Fayville Hall stage — award-winning Boston-area tellers\, several of them regulars on the Moth\, alongside storytellers from our own community. The subject is What We Carry: what gets handed down\, what won’t be put down\, and what we only say out loud once we’re standing in front of a room full of people. \nStorytellers include: Julie Baker\, Joyce Crieger\, Drew Forester\, Ajay G\, Linda Grosser\, and Catherine Weber\, with three community storytellers to be named. \nAfterward\, stay and chat. DESCRIPTION:Brahms wrote his chamber works for rooms\, not concert halls — for evenings among friends where the music was the occasion and the company was the point. The Southborough Salon Series returns to that tradition — and to a room built for it. \nJoin us for an opening reception in the Long Gallery\, followed by an all-Brahms chamber program in the Assembly Hall\, whose acoustics are near perfect for music at this intimate scale. Seating is limited to fifty.
