SUMMARY:Southborough Salon Series: An Evening of Brahms
DESCRIPTION:Brahms wrote his chamber works for rooms\, not concert halls — for evenings among friends where the music was the occasion and the company was the point. The Southborough Salon Series returns to that tradition — and to a room built for it. \nJoin us for an opening reception in the Long Gallery\, followed by an all-Brahms chamber program in the Assembly Hall\, whose acoustics are near perfect for music at this intimate scale. Seating is limited to fifty.
