Gallery Talk and Opening Reception with J. Ann Eldridge 3/21

Join us Saturday, March 21st at 4 PM for the grand opening of our new exhibit in the Long Gallery: The Nature of Whimsy: The Magical Etchings of J. Ann Eldridge. Ann will give a talk at 4:30 in the Assembly Room, sharing her passion for this 500-year-old process of making etchings, along with a behind-the-scenes look at the intricate art of transferring images from copper to paper.
Eldridge’s work reveals her uniquely sensitive view of the natural world, capturing both the delicate stillness and quiet humor found in everyday encounters with flora and fauna.
We’ll then adjourn to the Long Gallery, where you can meet the artist, enjoy light refreshments, and explore the full collection of her delicate and imaginative works—each offering a chance to bring a little of Ann’s whimsical world home with you.
Tickets are free, but reservations are required!
