May 16 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Free

Please join us this Saturday May 16th from 4-6 for the opening of our new exhibit: The Art of Torn Paper.

Artist Beverly Ramsay will be on hand to talk about her exquisitely detailed work, and the fascinating history of how she began her artistic journey. There will be nibbles and bubbles to cheer the way! Tickets are free, but we do ask that you register so we know the numbers!

Beverly Nunes Ramsay has developed a distinctive art form that transforms handmade paper into pictures celebrating the cultural heritage of nations around the world. Drawing on her diverse background, she shares the richness of these cultures through her work, inviting viewers to see paper not just as a material, but as a medium for storytelling and connection.

Her career includes extensive lectures at colleges and universities, as well as exhibitions in galleries and art shows, where she inspires others to draw from their surroundings, think creatively, and explore innovative ways to use paper in art.

Most recently, Beverly’s work has been showcased at the Fuller Craft Museum, the Danforth Museum, and in a solo exhibition of her entire collection at the Mariposa Museum on Martha’s Vineyard.

Beverly’s art studio is located at Holliston Mills, where she continues to create and share her passion for torn paper artistry.
