The Southborough History and Arts Center at Fayville Hall, sponsored by the Southborough Historical Society, Inc, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, interpretation, and public presentation of the history and cultural heritage of Southborough and its surrounding communities. Located within the carefully restored 1911 Fayville Village Hall—originally constructed to honor Civil War veterans—the Center serves as a civic and cultural resource that brings together historical scholarship and artistic expression. Through exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and multidisciplinary educational programs spanning the fine arts, music, culinary arts, and traditional crafts, the Center fosters meaningful engagement with the past while encouraging contemporary creative exploration. By providing opportunities for learning, dialogue, and cultural exchange, the Center strengthens community identity, promotes appreciation of local heritage, and ensures that the stories, traditions, and contributions of our region’s residents are preserved and made accessible for present and future generations.
